The Society maintains historic sites and museums all within a couple of blocks in downtown Frankfort. The Clark Center and the Kentucky Military History Museum both offer Civil War material in their main exhibits. The 1829 Old State Capitol building was briefly occupied by Confederates in September 1862. Stop at the Clark Center for information about touring the Old State Capitol Building.

Open Tuesday–Saturday 10 am–4 pm. $4/adult (Clark Center).
